Enjoy a fun New Zealand Coromandel cycling adventure
The Hauraki Rail Trail is one of the great cycle rides of New Zealand and can be accessed from Kopu/Thames, Paeroa, Waihi or Te Aroha. It is a 3-day bike ride for most or a 2-day ride for fit cyclists. There are also a range of shorter cycling options, including day rides, making it an ideal long weekend or weekend experience.
This Coromandel cycle trail showcases some of the best scenery New Zealand has to offer, in areas rich in pioneering history. A major highlight includes riding through the stunning Karangahake Gorge. For more information about the Hauraki Rail Trail visit: www.haurakirailtrail.co.nz
